Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Cat DNA Test US, including our comparison pages, educational content, contact forms, and outbound links.

By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and with the understanding that outside sellers, laboratories, and service providers control their own products and policies.

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of CatDNATest.us, including its educational pages, product listings, comparison content, contact forms, checkout features, testing services, and links to third-party websites.

CatDNATest.us is operated by Cansoft Technologies Corp. In these terms, “CatDNATest.us,” “Cansoft,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Cansoft Technologies Corp.

By accessing the website, submitting information, or placing an order, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or place an order.

Educational and informational use

Our pages help readers understand feline genetic health screening, inherited conditions, allergy testing, intolerance screening, microbiome reports, biological-age reports, sample collection, pricing, turnaround times, and result interpretation.

Website content is provided for general educational purposes. It is not veterinary advice, veterinary diagnosis, medical advice, legal advice, legal pedigree certification, or a guarantee of a particular result.

Contact a licensed veterinarian if your cat is ill, showing symptoms, experiencing a possible allergic reaction, or requires diagnosis or treatment.

Our role and laboratory services

CatDNATest.us may sell testing services directly and may manage customer orders, payments, kit fulfilment, case submission, support, status updates, and delivery of reports.

Laboratory analysis, technical processing, kit preparation, sample allocation, and certain fulfilment services may be performed by independent laboratories and service providers.

CatDNATest.us does not itself perform laboratory analysis. We coordinate with service providers as necessary to complete the service you order.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority where you live, to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that you have authority to submit the animal sample and enter into the transaction.

Accurate information

You must provide complete and accurate customer, animal, payment, delivery, and contact information. Incorrect or incomplete information may delay or prevent kit dispatch and laboratory processing.

Order acceptance

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We may reject, hold, or cancel an order because of availability, payment issues, pricing errors, missing information, suspected fraud, legal restrictions, or laboratory requirements.

Choosing the correct test

You are responsible for selecting the test that matches the question you want answered. Genetic disease tests, blood-based IgE allergy panels, intolerance screening, microbiome tests, and biological-age reports use different methods and are not interchangeable.

Before ordering, review the product description, included conditions or report categories, sample type, collection requirements, expected turnaround, and any kit-registration or activation instructions.

Some tests may require assistance from a veterinarian or another qualified professional. Unless the product page expressly states otherwise, professional collection fees are not included in the website price.

Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in United States dollars unless another currency is expressly stated. The price shown at checkout applies to the order, subject to correction of an obvious technical or pricing error.

Prices may change without notice. Changes will not normally affect an order we have already accepted.

Product prices may not include shipping, return postage, taxes, customs charges, veterinary collection, replacement kits, recollection, retesting, or optional services unless those items are expressly included.

Payment authorization

You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the payment method submitted at checkout for the order total and any additional charge you later approve.

We may delay or cancel an order when payment cannot be authorized, is reversed, appears fraudulent, or remains unpaid.

Payment information is handled by the applicable payment provider under its own security and privacy terms.

Kit shipping and delivery

Testing kits may be shipped directly by CatDNATest.us or by an independent fulfilment provider. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, email address, and telephone number.

Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Postal or courier time is separate from laboratory turnaround time.

We are not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by an incorrect address, missing unit number, refusal of delivery, failure to collect a shipment, customs processing, severe weather, or carrier disruption.

If an order cannot be shipped within the stated or legally required period, we may ask you to accept a revised shipping date. You may cancel the unshipped order instead and receive a refund as required by applicable law.

Tracking information will be provided when available. Not every standard postal shipment includes complete tracking.

Sample collection and return

You must follow the instructions supplied with the test. Required samples may include a cheek swab, blood, hair, stool, or another test-specific specimen.

You are responsible for:

Collecting the correct sample type.
Preventing contamination.
Labelling samples and forms accurately.
Registering or activating the kit when required.
Using the return address provided with the kit.
Packaging and returning the sample correctly.

Important return instructions

Do not send samples to our general business or website contact address unless the kit instructions specifically direct you to do so.

Keep your postal or courier tracking information until receipt is confirmed. Shipping time and delays occurring before laboratory receipt are not included in the test turnaround.

Blood-based tests may require professional collection. The customer is responsible for arranging that service unless it is expressly included with the product.

Authority and consent

By submitting a sample, you confirm that you own the animal or have authorization from the owner. You authorize us and our providers to receive, handle, analyze, report on, and dispose of the sample as needed to perform the service.

Sample quality

A result cannot be guaranteed when a sample is contaminated, damaged, degraded, insufficient, incorrectly collected, incorrectly labelled, or unsuitable for the selected analysis.

Recollection and retesting

A confirmed laboratory error may qualify for repeat analysis without another laboratory testing charge. Collection errors or unsuitable samples may require a new kit, recollection, shipping, or retesting fee.

Laboratory turnaround times

Published turnaround times are estimates stated in laboratory working days unless otherwise indicated.

Turnaround begins only after the correct laboratory receives and accepts the sample, all required forms and case details are complete, and any outstanding payment has been settled.

Kit delivery, sample collection, veterinary appointments, return shipping, weekends, public holidays, customs processing, and recollection are not included in the laboratory turnaround period.

Results may be delayed by sample quality, confirmatory analysis, testing batches, laboratory workload, equipment issues, supply interruptions, holidays, carrier problems, or events outside our reasonable control. A stated turnaround is not a guaranteed delivery date.

Results and reports

Reports are normally delivered electronically through email, a customer account, or a laboratory platform associated with the order.

You are responsible for supplying a correct email address and checking your inbox, spam folder, and account notifications.

Some tests require direct kit activation through a laboratory platform. Where applicable, the customer may receive updates and results through that platform.

Limits of test results

Results are limited to the sample, testing method, markers, allergens, organisms, traits, and report categories included in the purchased product.

Results may be inconclusive or affected by sample quality, the cat’s genetic background, available reference populations, environmental factors, and current scientific knowledge.

No report guarantees present or future health, behavior, lifespan, breeding success, or a particular veterinary outcome.

Veterinary and medical disclaimer

Testing information and reports do not replace veterinary examination, diagnosis, advice, or treatment.

A genetic risk result does not necessarily mean that a condition is present or will develop. A negative result does not eliminate every possible genetic, environmental, or medical cause of a condition.

Unless a product expressly states otherwise, reports are not intended for court proceedings, insurance claims, official pedigree registration, regulatory use, or legal proof of ownership or parentage.

Do not start, stop, or change medication, treatment, diet, breeding plans, or other important care decisions solely because of a website article or test report. Discuss relevant findings with a licensed veterinarian.

Cancellations, returns, replacements, and refunds

Contact us through the Contact page as soon as possible if you want to cancel an order. Refund eligibility depends on the order’s status and applicable law.

Before dispatch or processing

An order may be cancelled and refunded when we receive the request before the kit has been prepared or dispatched and before a laboratory case, activation, or customized service has been created.

After dispatch or activation

Once a kit has been dispatched, opened, registered, activated, used, or connected to a laboratory case, some or all charges may become non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law.

After testing begins

Once laboratory processing has started, the testing fee is generally non-refundable unless the service cannot be completed because of a confirmed laboratory error or another circumstance requiring a refund by law.

Wrong or damaged kit

If the wrong kit is supplied or a kit arrives materially damaged, contact us promptly with your order details and photographs where possible. We will review the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy when verified.

A refund is not normally provided because a customer selected the wrong test, failed to return a sample, did not follow the instructions, received an unexpected result, or expected information outside the advertised scope of the product.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method unless another method is required by law.

Direct website orders

Products purchased through the CatDNATest.us checkout are direct website orders. These terms, the product page, checkout information, and any order-specific instructions apply.

External purchases

A purchase completed entirely on another seller’s website is governed by that seller’s prices, payment, delivery, return, privacy, and support policies.

Third-party laboratories

Independent laboratories and fulfilment providers may apply their own technical, collection, safety, and case-processing procedures when performing their part of the service.

Affiliate disclosure

Some CatDNATest.us pages may contain affiliate links. If you follow an affiliate link and complete an eligible purchase on a third-party website, we may receive a commission or other compensation.

Affiliate compensation does not make CatDNATest.us the seller of a purchase completed entirely on the third-party website. Where required, the commercial relationship may also be disclosed near the relevant link or recommendation.

Reviews and comparisons

Comparisons may consider product scope, regular price, sample type, published methodology, turnaround estimates, available documentation, and customer experience.

Prices, products, promotions, methods, and availability may change after publication. Customer reviews describe individual experiences and do not guarantee the same outcome for another customer.

Permitted use and restricted conduct

You may browse CatDNATest.us and share links to publicly available pages for lawful personal, educational, and business-research purposes.

You may not:

Copy, republish, sell, license, or commercially exploit substantial portions of the website without written permission.
Use automated tools to scrape or harvest website content, customer information, pricing, or product data.

By placing an order, you agree to receive transactional communications concerning payment, kit dispatch, sample receipt, case status, recollection, results, and customer support. Transactional messages are not optional marketing communications.

Website availability

We may update, suspend, remove, or discontinue a page, feature, product, or service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or compatibility with every device or browser.

Changes to products

Laboratories may update methods, markers, report formats, sample requirements, or turnaround estimates. We may update product pages to reflect those changes.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by severe weather, natural disasters, public emergencies, labour disputes, government action, customs, carrier disruption, supply interruption, or similar events outside our reasonable control.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website, educational content, and services are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted or error-free, that every product will remain available, that a test will produce a conclusive result, or that a report will answer questions outside its stated scope.

Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, consumer right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CatDNATest.us, Cansoft Technologies Corp, and their directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss arising from the website or services.

This includes loss associated with carrier delays, damage occurring before confirmed sample receipt, incorrect customer information, improper collection, contamination, insufficient samples, inconclusive results, reliance on educational content instead of veterinary advice, decisions made outside a report’s intended purpose, or third-party websites and services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability connected with a purchased product or service will not exceed the amount paid to CatDNATest.us for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in this section limits liability or consumer remedies that cannot legally be limited.

Complaints and dispute resolution

Contact us through the Contact page if you have a concern about an order, shipment, sample, report, payment, disclosure, website statement, or these terms.

Include your order number or case reference when available. We may request photographs, tracking details, kit information, or other evidence needed to investigate.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Cansoft Technologies Corp and the relevant transaction.

Nothing in these terms deprives a customer of mandatory consumer protections available in the customer’s state or jurisdiction.

An unresolved dispute may be submitted to a court or other authority with lawful jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the website, products, laboratories, fulfilment arrangements, business practices, or legal requirements change.

The revised terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Changes apply from that date unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Your continued use of the website after revised terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.

Severability

If a provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

No waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a provision, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.
